Drawn In To Graphic Novels Book Club In-Person
This unique book club wil feature graphic novels for 12 to 17 year old patrons. Graphic novels are an engaging way to look at the past in an innovative way. We will start with historical fiction graphic novels like They Called Us Enemy, March: Book One, Trinity, Kent State: Four Died in Ohio, Maus, Drowned City, etc. This group will meet on the last Saturday of the month at Headlands Branch from 2 to 3 p.m. In addition to reading current graphic novels, attendees will be given a graphic novel journal and encouraged to write and share their own stories with the group.
Our October selection is Gris Grimly's Frankenstein, or, the Modern Prometheus by Gris Grimly, Mary Wollstonecraft Shelly and Bernie Wrightson.
