Thirteen Days: The Cuban Missile Crisis, October 1962, Library Tuesdays @Concord
For thirteen days in the Autumn of 1962, the world stood on the brink of catastrophe, as the United States and the Soviet Union faced off over missiles in Cuba. Dr. John Foster of Mentor Public Library presents a lecture on the history of one of the most dangerous moments in the cold war. Join us for the story of two weeks when the future of humanity hung in the balance.
