Join us at the Lake branch for a Teen Book Club. Pick up a copy of the book, read the book, then attend the book club in September where we will have pizza  and discuss the book.

The book this session is a graphic novel by Mariko Tamaki titled This One Summer. In addition to being a best selling book, This One Summer is a Caldecott Honor Book, Michael L. Printz Honor Book, and an Eisner Award winner. 

This One Summer is a tremendously exciting teen graphic novel from two creators with true literary clout. Cousins Mariko and Jillian Tamaki, have collaborated on this gorgeous, heartbreaking, and ultimately hopeful story about a girl on the cusp of childhood - a story of renewal and revelation.

Library programs will be conducted in accordance with current state health and safety mandates/guidelines, which are subject to change. We encourage all attendees to observe these rules so that in-person programing may continue. We encourage masks at our programs and ask that family groups maintain social distance from other family groups. It is up to the individual to determine his or her level of comfort and acceptable risk when attending programs. If you are concerned about public gatherings, please do not attend.
