Tune in to learn more about this pioneer of early television with a career spanning seven decades! She was one of the first women to work both in front of and behind the camera.White was an avowed animal lover, an advocate for guide dogs, a long-standing board member for the L.A. Zoo, and a recipient of American Humane’s highest honor, the National Humanitarian Medal and the Legacy Award. Betty has the longest television career in history, spanning from 1949 til early this year. Betty was the first woman to produce and star in her own TV show. In 2011 Betty was voted the most trusted celebrity in America. Betty has starred in two classic sitcoms: The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls. Join us as we learn this fascinating, and inspiration story of the beloved author, humanitarian, and - of course - actress, The First Lady of Television: Betty White!
