Origins of the Constitution: The Federalist Papers In-Person
The writing and signing of the US Constitution was done, but the document still had to be approved, both by the states and in th ehearts and minds of the people. From the Fall of 1787 to the Spring of 1788, Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay would launch a spirited defense of the new constitution in a series of articles that would become the Federalist Papers. Join Dr. John Foster for a talk about one of the ideas of the Founding Generation and how they shaped our constitution.
