Monday University: Native Plants for the Home Landscape

Monday University: Native Plants for the Home Landscape In-Person

Did you know that most common landscaping plants are non-native and provide little benefit to local wildlife? Do you want your home landscape to be a native plant oasis? Join us to learn about great native plants for your home’s landscaping. You will also learn about winter sowing and make and plant a mini native plant greenhouse to take home. Presented ny Natalie Gertz-Young from the Lake Soil and Water Conservation District.

Registration is required and begins October 25.

Library programs will be conducted in accordance with current state health and safety mandates/guidelines, which are subject to change. We encourage all attendees to observe these rules so that in-person programing may continue. We encourage masks at our programs and ask that family groups maintain social distance from other family groups. It is up to the individual to determine his or her level of comfort and acceptable risk when attending programs. If you are concerned about public gatherings, please do not attend.
