Gathering Moss Book Club In-Person

Calling all nature lovers, green thumbs and anyone else with an interest in talking about the beauty and mystery of the natural world.  Join us for a rich discussion of some of today's best nature titles.

Please note, this program is in-person at the Mentor Headlands Community Center.

This session we'll be discussing Half Earth by E.O. Wilson.

Popular naturalist E.O. Wilson proposes in this book that "half of the Earth's surface should be designated a human-free natural reserve to preserve biodiversity."

Library programs will be conducted in accordance with current state health and safety mandates/guidelines, which are subject to change. We encourage all attendees to observe these rules so that in-person programing may continue. We encourage masks at our programs and ask that family groups maintain social distance from other family groups. It is up to the individual to determine his or her level of comfort and acceptable risk when attending programs. If you are concerned about public gatherings, please do not attend.
