Tree Planting and Arbor Day Celebration

Tree Planting and Arbor Day Celebration In-Person

Join us to celebrate Arbor Day as we plant several trees in front of the Mentor Public Library's main branch. Partnering with the Holden Forests & Gardens, Mentor Public Library will be planting canopy trees in order to help Northeastern Ohio's tree canopy. Learn about the importance of the trees in our region, and specifically canopy trees to help the local wildlife and environment. The first 100 attendees will receive a sapling tree to take home and plant in their yard (one per household please) while supplies last.

Library programs will be conducted in accordance with current health and safety mandates/guidelines which are subject to change.  We encourage all attendees to observe these rules so that in person programing may continue.  It is up to the individual to determine his or her level of comfort and acceptable risk when attending programs. If you are concerned about public gatherings, please do not attend.
