Gathering Moss Book Club

Gathering Moss Book Club In-Person

Calling all nature lovers, green thumbs and anyone else with an interest in talking about the beauty and mystery of the natural world.  Join us for a rich discussion of some of today's best nature titles.

Please note, this program is in-person at Morton Park in Mentor Headlands.

This session we'll be discussing National Book Award Finalist The Soul of an Octopus: A Surprising Exploration into the Wonder of Consciousness by Sy Montgomery.

"The Soul of an Octopus opens your eyes to the natural world around you and leaves you with new-found knowledge and compassion for the world, you come to realize, you have largely overlooked. This true story is both motivating and captivating, even to those who know little about octopuses going in." --Savannah House, LA Audubon Society Book Review

Library programs will be conducted in accordance with current health and safety mandates/guidelines which are subject to change.  We encourage all attendees to observe these rules so that in person programing may continue.  It is up to the individual to determine his or her level of comfort and acceptable risk when attending programs.
