RESCHEDULED: The American Psychiatric Hospital: A Broken Promise Online
RESCHEDULED DATE OF PROGRAM THAT WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 18TH.
The American Psychiatric Hospitals were intended to treat the mentally ill and handicapped people who could not be treated at home. Many beautiful styled buildings, gardens and farms were created for the patients. Many hospitals had their own community. However, over the years problems arose with overcrowding and many patients became neglected, abandoned or abused. Listen to stories about these communities and what is left of them today.
