Alexander Hamilton and the Federalist Republic In-Person
Alexander Hamilton was an important driving force in early America federalism. With James Madison and John Jay, he authored The Federalist Papers, a series of articles that became one of the defining documents of our country. Dr. John Foster of the Adult Information Services Department will discuss Hamilton's role in the ratification of the Constitution and the ways that the Federalist Papers shaped the republic that the founders crafted.
