Tuesday Topics: Sharks!!! In-Person
Who doesn’t like hearing about sharks? This talk discusses sharks from a diver’s perspective and contrasts it to the public’s popular culture view of sharks. It also discusses sharks from a scientific basis and covers their natural history, biology, and finely honed senses. Shark attack statistics are presented to show the danger sharks present to swimmers versus other known hazards. Finally, the future and what it may hold for this ancient and fascinating animal is discussed. Presented by Kevin Magee
