Monday University: Sink the Bismarck In-Person
Registration for this program opens December 31st.
On the morning of May 23rd, 1941, the German battleship Bismarck appeared at the southern end of the Denmark Strait and the worst fears of the British admiralty were realized: the most dangerous commerce raider ever built was on the verge of breaking out into the open Atlantic. What followed was a deadly game of cat and mouse as the British mobilized every available resource to hunt down and sink the Bismarck. Dr. John Foster presents the history of one of the most harrowing naval engagements of the 20th century.
