The Great Crash of 1929 In-Person
Registration opens for this event opens August 25th.
The stock market crash of 1929 was one of the most traumatic event in the history of the United States. It was a catastrophe the effects of which are felt in American public life down to the present day. Dr. John Foster of Mentor Public Library will talk about the history of those times, how it shaped the memory of the Roaring 20s (the era that it brought to a close), and its influence still shapes our world.
