The Day You Begin--A Back to School Program In-Person
Registration begins July 25. Join us at the Lake Branch for a back to school program. Participating children will receive a hardcover copy of the book The Day You Begin by National Book Award winner Jacqueline Woodson. This #1 New York Times best seller tells the story of how a child who may feel like an outsider can share their story and find that people are happy to meet them halfway. After having the book read aloud, children will complete activities related to the story.
Children entering grades K-3 may attend.
