Planting Medieval Herb Garden Rooted in the Tradition of Hildegard of Bingen In-Person

Spring is the time to plan the herb garden of your dreams. Join us as we explore herbs of the 12th century and their modern application in your NEO herb garden!  Headlands Library is pleased to present Dr. Shanon Sterringer and her presentation “Planting Medieval Herb Gardens Rooted in the Tradition of Hildegard of Bingen.”

We will be holding this inspiring lecture at the newly renovated Headlands Community Center at 9096 Lake Overlook Drive Mentor, Ohio 44060.

Dr. Sterringer has published two books on the topic of Hildegard. A third book (focused on the material recorded in Physica) is in process. Shanon has offered many retreats and educational presentations on the topic of Hildegard and Herbs, including a variety of online classes/seminars and a presentation at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens for the Western Reserve Herb Society.  She has presented to the Herb Society of America, the Western Reserve Herb Society at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, and Western Pennsylvania Unit of Herb Society of America.
