Cleveland Clinic Disaster: Heroes and Heartbreak

Cleveland Clinic Disaster: Heroes and Heartbreak In-Person

Registration begins June 17. "It was a sunny spring day when the worst hospital disaster in U.S. history unfolded here. On May 15, 1929, an explosion and fire at the Cleveland Clinic released a deadly cloud of toxic fumes from X-ray films smoldering in the basement. The vaporous killer cost the lives of 123 patients, visitors and staff, and injured many others. The tragedy had a lingering impact on survivors and loved ones across northeastern Ohio. Here are some of their stories and the lessons learned." Space is limited. Please register beginning June 17. Presented by Ginnie Jeschelnig.
