Cleveland and John F. Kennedy: From Campaign to Commemoration In-Person

President John F. Kennedy famously hailed from Boston, but did you know that Clevelanders played important roles in every step of his rise to power and in the investigation of his tragic assassination? This presentation explores how JFK found powerful political allies in the city of Cleveland and why many regular Clevelanders found the charismatic politician so empowering. When his death produced an equally strong reaction in the city, and people looked for explanations, Clevelanders were there to investigate.
