Kent State University May 4, 1970: Hear from an Eyewitness and Survivor In-Person

Registration begins April 17. Where were you on May 4, 1970? If you were alive and are old enough to remember, it is likely you will never forget. On that date at Kent State University, four lives were lost. Their stories live on, not only in books but also in the memories of those who were there.

People like Roseann "Chic" Canfora, Ph.D., Professional in Residence and Assistant Professor in the Media & Journalism department of the College of Communication and Information at KSU.

Dr. Canfora is not only an eyewitness and survivor of the shooting, but currently chairs the May 4 Presidential Advisory Committee and the May 4 Commemoration Committee at Kent State University.

Please join us as Dr. Canfora shares her personal account of the events at KSU on May 4.
