The Korean War: Invasion In-Person
Registration for the program opens on March 28th.
On 25 June 1950, North Korea invaded South Korea, sparking a conflict that would last three years and cost more than 3 million lives. The first lecture in Dr. John Foster's series on the Korean War will discuss the background to the invasion, the struggle to save the Pusan perimeter, and MacArthur's daring landing at Inchon that turned the tide of battle.
