Dr. John Foster of Mentor Public Library presents the first lecture in his series for 2023: the History of the US Supreme Court as told through the stories of important justices. The rest of the series will be presented at Mentor Public Library Main Location. John Marshall was a giant of the early court. In his 34 year tenure (1801-1835) as Chief Justice, Marshall wrote decisions that continue to shape the United States to the present day. This talk will be held at the Concord Community Center: 7671 Auburn Road, Painesville, OH 44077.
